Dr. PMRIMS FACILITIES
The following infrastructure and facilities were available in the College and Hospital:
LECTURE HALLS
Academic block with fully air conditioned Lecture halls with excellent seating arrangements are available for teaching purpose with audio visual aids including sound amplifying system, over head projector, 35mm slide projector, LCD projector and microphone and provision for conversion into E-classes for teaching.
CENTRAL LIBRARY
A unique state of art Library cum Digital Information Centre spread over two thousand Square meters is located in the Academic Block. The library has ergonomically designed seating and lightings to provide comfort and privacy to the users. The library is stocked with 4124 Medical books, 40 journals and 2000 CDROM. The collection is being continuously updated with new editions of Books, Journals and periodicals. Teachers and students are encouraged to actively participate in the seminars, journal clubs and Elearning processes. Photocopying, printing and scanning services are available to the students in the library at minimal cost. Air conditioned computerlab with 40 computers along with Medlar and internet facility.
IT DEPARTMENT
The data in respect to attendance, scholastic performance & overall progress of the students is recorded and stored in a retrievable form using a software program called Students Information System (SIS). Parents are updated regarding the progress of their wards every month by email and postal communication.
Whole campus is under CCTV surveillance.
COUNSELLING CENTER
The college has a full time Campus Officer and student counselor. Under teacher mentor scheme a faculty member is assigned for 12-15 students to take care of their academic needs and individual difficulties. Parent Teacher & Student Meetings are held at-least twice a year to discuss the progress of the students.
EXTRA FACILITIES
- Common Rooms for Boys and Girls are available with attached toilets.
- Skill Labs are available.
- Auditorium with 500 Seating is available with all the Facilities.
RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES
- In Campus Separate Hostel block with CCTV is available for Boys and Girls with messing facility.
- Residential quarters for both teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Cafeteria is available for Staff and Students and also for others.
- Recreation Facilities: Indoor & Outdoor games are available for Staff and students.
